The Chistopher Colombus’ mark in Seville can be found in different places of our city. We start our route in Murillo’s gardens next to the monument dedicated to this famous admiral. From there, taking Doña Catalina de Ribera, we will arrive to the University ofSeville, old factory where the tobacco from America was traded. After this, we will see the façade of San Telmo Palace, old naval university and later on, residence of duke and duchess of Montpensier.

We will go through one of the gates that enclosed the city every night in the past, El Postigo, to arrive to Archivo de Indias. Many original documents about the connection between Spain and America after 1492 are kept in this building. Our route finishes with the visit to the Catedral of Seville, where one of the official tombs of Christopher Colombus in the world is found.
