Regardingthe famous Don Juan by Tirso de Molina, or Don Giovanni by Mozart, we could have a question: is it a myth, a literary invention or historical figure?. In this walking tour, we will try to reveal the real identity of this famous lover who lived in Seville and spent an important part of his time along the narrow streets of Santa Cruz Quarter. We will try to find this famous Sevillian by visiting places where he was according to the book and the opera.

Our meeting point will be the statue dedicated to Mozart, situated in front of Mestranza Theatre. After Postigo Arch andTriunfo square we will arrive to Los Venerables Square, where we find the popular restaurant and hotel El Laurel. After the narrow streets of the old Jewish quarter, we will arrive to the monument of Don Juan. It is now when we will reveal the identity of this famous Sevillian who, according to people, dedicated 3 days to every single mistress, one to know her, a second one to conquer herand a third one to love her. And finally we will finish our route by contempling one of the convents situated in Santa Cruz quarter, in order to mention to Doña Ines, the nun who marked Don Juan’s destiny definitively.
