Paseando por Sevilla is a Sevillian firm born in 1999 with a main aim: to expand the tourist-cultural working possibilities of Seville. This means to know, to feel, and therefore to live Seville as a vivacious monumental complex, promoting the knowledge of the idiosyncrasy of the city in the past and in the present. Our proposal moves further away from the usual shows of monuments in an isolated way that contributes to the typical commonplace without any interaction between the tourist and the city. In this way, we expand the present market and we insist on a new aspect in the organization of the tourist field.

We offer the alternative to discover the real nature and feeling of the city in the history and also the current idiosyncrasy of the popular quarters that keep the global character of Seville. For this, a group of bachelors of Tourism, History, Art, Geography and anthropology have designed a didactic content, main crux of the project, with which a good quality tourist service can be offered and as consequence, a high degree of satisfaction.

Paseando por Sevilla not only wants to show and to let know Seville, but also expects that the visitor feels and lives the city and gets so delighted that never forgot the experienced moments and sensations.

Paseando por Sevilla has collaborated in the publication of books and CD’s dedicated to the study and knowledge of our culture. In 2001, it collaborated in the development and edition of the book “Informe Cíngulo”, a historical-stadistical work regarding Easter in Seville, and also in the edition of a trilogy of CD’s “Paseo Cofrade I, II y III” in 2002, 2003 and 2004 dedicated to the most important festivity, Easter.

As a reward to this work and the new tourist proposal, the City Hall of Seville awarded Paseando Por Sevilla with the “Innovative Company in Tourism Award” in 2001.
